MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical - Common Entrance Test) was previously conducted for state level engineering college in Maharashtra. MHT-CET was replaced by JEE-Mains form last 3 Yrs but from 2016 once again there will be MHT-CET which will be based on Maharashtra State Board curriculum. There is still no clarity about the pattern of examination whether it will be a -ve marking exam or not, even questioning and marking pattern is not clear.

BIT-SAT  BIT-SAT entrance exam is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology for admission in their prestigious colleges at Pilani, Goa, Hyderbad and Dubai.  Birla Institute of Technology is as good as IITs. Salary packages and versatile course sometimes makes first choice of students for pursuing their engineering from BITs.  There is no separate preparation required for BIT-SAT as one who is preparing for JEE-Mains or JEE Advance can appear for BIT-SAT too.  In addition to Physics, Chemistry, Maths BIT-SAT have Aptitude and English paper too, which students can prepare in 2-3 months.
